Steel Gutter – Ø130, 3 m, RAL 7016 & RAL 9005

A 3 metre half-round gutter in coated steel, forming the main run of the Ø130 system. The 130 mm profile is the larger of the common domestic sizes, suited to bigger roof areas and steeper pitches where the volume of water reaching the eaves in a downpour is more than a smaller gutter will take.

The steel is protected on both faces by four separate layers: zinc, a passivation layer, an undercoat, and an organic top coating. Coating both sides matters more than it might sound – the inside of a gutter holds standing water, grit and leaf litter for weeks at a time, and it is usually where corrosion starts on a cheaper product finished on the visible face alone.

Steel also holds its shape in a way plastic does not. A long run stays straight between brackets rather than sagging in summer heat, and it takes the weight of a ladder or a winter’s ice without deforming.

Stocked in RAL 7016 anthracite grey and RAL 9005 jet black. Other RAL shades can be supplied to order – contact us for availability.
