Steel 90° External Corner – Ø130, RAL 7016, RAL 9005 & Aluzinc

The external corner carries the gutter around a projecting corner of the building – the standard right-angle turn where two walls meet at the front or rear of a house. It arrives pre-formed with the angle already set, so there is no mitring and sealing two cut gutter ends while working off a ladder.

That matters for appearance as much as for speed. External corners sit at the most visible point of the eaves, catching light from two elevations at once, and a hand-cut mitre shows every millimetre it is out. A pressed corner keeps the line crisp and the profile continuous as it turns.

The corner is pressed from the same coated steel as the gutter and finished to match, so it reads as part of the run rather than as an added fitting.

What this corner works with

This fitting suits Ø130 half-round steel gutter. Note that the corner forms a joint at each end, so it needs a connector on both sides to join it to the adjoining gutter lengths. A complete eaves run generally needs:

• Steel gutter, Ø130, 3 m – the runs themselves
• Gutter connectors – two per corner, plus one at every joint between lengths
• Gutter brackets – fixed to the fascia, with one close to each side of the corner
• Stop end caps – to close the run where it terminates
• 90° internal corner – where the building plan turns inwards instead
• Gutter funnel Ø130/90 – where water leaves the gutter and drops into the downpipe
• Ø90 downpipe, elbows, connectors and pipe brackets – this gutter is part of the 130/90 system

How many do you need?

One external corner for each projecting angle on the roof plan. A simple rectangular house with gutters on all four elevations takes four; a plan with a projecting bay or wing takes more. Count internal corners separately where the plan turns inwards. Send us a sketch of your roof plan and we will work out the quantities for you.

Colours

Available in RAL 7016 anthracite grey, RAL 9005 jet black and Aluzinc, matched to the gutter, brackets, connectors and downpipe components in the same range. Other RAL shades can be supplied to order – contact us for availability.
