WFDOC Self-Drilling Roofing Screw – Steel Sheet to Timber

The WFDOC is a self-drilling fastener designed to secure profiled steel sheeting, metal roof tiles and cladding panels directly onto timber rafters, battens and purlins. The drill point cuts cleanly through sheet material up to 2 mm thick and then draws itself into the timber below, so no pre-drilling is needed and fixing rates on site stay high.

A hex drive head gives positive engagement with a standard nut setter and spreads load across a wider bearing area, improving pull-through resistance at the fixing point. The bonded EPDM sealing washer compresses under the head to close the hole against rain and wind-driven moisture, while the protective coating guards the exposed head against corrosion and UV fade.
