Piccolo Pattern Pliers – 22 mm, Bent

The Piccolo is the small, precise plier in the folding range. Its 22 mm jaw is made for the folds that a full-size clinching plier is simply too broad to reach: tight returns, short closing bends, and the finishing details at the end of a job where the fold has to land in exactly one place and nowhere else.

The head is bent, which keeps the hand clear of the work and lets the jaw sit square on a fold in a confined position. It takes a 28 mm depth – enough for edge and lap work at this scale – and the whole tool is only 180 mm long and 190 g, so it can be worked with one hand while the other supports the sheet. The PVC-coated handles keep the grip comfortable on the fiddly, repetitive work this plier tends to be used for.
