The WFDAL Self-Drilling Roofing Screw is designed for fastening profiled steel sheets, tile-effect roofing panels and metal cladding to timber rafters, purlins and battens.

Its self-drilling point passes through steel sheet up to 2 mm thick without the need for a pilot hole, before securing directly into the timber substrate. This helps make installation quicker and more efficient, particularly across larger roofing and cladding areas.

The hex head allows fast installation using a standard nut setter and provides a broad bearing surface for good pull-through resistance. A bonded EPDM washer helps create a weathertight seal around the fixing point, protecting against rain and driven moisture.

The screw head is finished with a UV-resistant lacquer designed to match common roofing and cladding colours. This provides a cleaner finished appearance while also adding protection to the screw head.
