Flange Head Zinc Plated Screw – Self-Tapping, 4,2 mm

The WPC is a 4,2 mm self-tapping screw used mainly for flashing work and for making lap joints between metal sheets. Its sharp point suits a wider range of materials than a drill-point fastener: it fixes into solid timber, steel profiles and steel substrates up to 3 mm, and into PVC, which makes it a useful general-purpose fixing across roofing, cladding and joinery work.

The pan head with a PH socket sits flat against the fixed element and applies even pressure across the joint, holding overlapping sheets tightly together. Every screw carries an electro-galvanised anti-corrosion finish with a zinc layer of at least 12 µm. Lengths span 13 mm to 65 mm, so the same screw covers thin sheet laps and deeper fixings into timber or profile.
