Wall Abutment Standard – 2m

The Wall Abutment Standard – 2m is a formed metal flashing designed to protect the junction where a pitched roof meets a vertical wall. It creates a neat, weather-resistant connection while helping prevent rainwater and wind-driven moisture from entering behind the roofing panels.

Installed along the wall-to-roof junction, the flashing covers the upper edges of the roof panels and extends against the adjoining wall. Its shaped profile helps direct water away from this vulnerable connection and safely onto the roof covering below.

When correctly installed and sealed, the Wall Abutment Flashing helps protect the roof membrane, battens, insulation and supporting structure from moisture ingress. It also conceals cut panel edges, gaps and fixings, creating a clean and professionally finished roof detail.

This flashing is suitable for areas where roofs meet house walls, extensions, dormers, parapets, chimneys and other vertical building elements. It can be used with compatible standing-seam, tile-effect and profiled metal roofing systems, subject to the required profile and installation detail.

Supplied in a standard 2-metre length, individual sections can be trimmed and overlapped during installation to suit the length of the wall-to-roof junction. The flashing is available in colours and protective coatings designed to coordinate with compatible roofing panels.
