Valley Trough Standard – 2m

The Valley Trough Standard – 2m is a formed metal flashing designed to protect the internal junction where two adjoining roof slopes meet. It creates a secure drainage channel that collects rainwater and melting snow from both roof sections and directs it safely towards the eaves and guttering system.

Roof valleys carry a significant amount of water and are therefore one of the most important areas to protect against moisture ingress. When correctly installed beneath the adjoining roofing panels, the valley trough covers the roof-to-roof connection and helps prevent water from reaching the roof membrane, battens, insulation and supporting structure.

The formed profile provides a clear and continuous route for water while covering cut panel edges, joints and installation gaps along the valley. It also creates a neat and professionally finished connection between the adjoining roof surfaces.

Supplied in a standard 2-metre length, individual sections can be trimmed and overlapped during installation to suit the required valley length. The correct direction and amount of overlap should be maintained to support effective drainage and weather protection.

The Valley Trough Standard is available in colours and protective coatings designed to coordinate with compatible metal roofing panels. It is suitable for standing-seam, tile-effect and profiled metal roofing systems, subject to the required dimensions and installation detail.
